โš“ for marinas & boatyards

From the berth map to the bank account.

Berths, visitor bookings, contracts, invoicing, boatyard scheduling and owner communication โ€” one platform, run from a laptop or a phone on the dock. It works from day one with zero connected boats; when an owner connects theirs from myboat, their berth lights up with live position and presence.

The harbour, as the office sees it

Pontoons and berths on a real chart โ€” click one to assign, release or look up the boat in it.

navdeck marina ยท Manoel island marina
The navdeck marina map: pontoons and berths drawn over a real chart of the harbour, each berth a coloured dot showing whether it is occupied, free or reserved, with one berth labelled with its code and the boat in it.

One platform, two modes

Run a marina, a boatyard, or both from the same account โ€” the map, contracts and billing machinery work identically on either side of the water line.

โš“ Marina โ€” wet berths

๐Ÿ›  Boatyard โ€” dry storage

A vessel can be in the water or ashore at any time โ€” the platform tracks which, so occupancy, invoicing and reports are always right. Running a yard on its own? A standalone Boatyard plan is available โ€” see pricing below.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Berths, pontoons & maps

the daily operating picture

Occupancy at a glance

A live grid plus a drag-to-arrange schematic map and a real geographic map โ€” click a berth to assign or release.

Fit checks built in

LOA, beam and draft are checked against every berth before you assign โ€” with an override for the edge cases.

Wide-boat pair berths

A catamaran spans two slots cleanly โ€” book, invoice and map them as one unit.

๐Ÿ“… Bookings & visitors

revenue with zero phone calls

Public booking page

No login required โ€” visitors search real availability by date and boat size, see the price, and prepay by card.

Approach map

The confirmation email includes a live map to the exact berth, with the visitor's own GPS position on it.

Waitlist & renewals

Size-matched waitlist for permanent berths, plus one-click bulk renewal e-signing each season.

๐Ÿ’ถ Contracts & billing

get paid, on time

Automatic recurring invoicing

Monthly and yearly moorings bill themselves โ€” PDF invoices, automatic overdue payment reminders, aged-receivables reporting.

Your own Stripe account

Card payments settle directly to you via Stripe Connect โ€” we add no markup on top of Stripe's standard rates.

Prepaid utilities

Water and power balances per vessel, with owner self-service top-up links and low-balance alerts.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Owner communication

no owner login required

Two-way messaging

Owners reply from a tokenised link in their inbox โ€” no account needed on their side.

E-signed agreements

Berth and renewal agreements signed from home, with a tamper-evident certificate kept on file.

Announcements

Email every owner, or just one pontoon โ€” handy for a water shutoff or a dredging notice.

๐ŸŒค๏ธ Weather, safety & AIS

see trouble before it arrives

Weather & a 48h tide curve

Wind, waves and a tide curve with high/low times, plus a 7-day outlook for the marina's exact position.

Configurable weather alerts

Set thresholds for wind/gusts/waves; the harbourmaster reviews and sends (or lets it auto-send) to affected berth-holders.

AIS traffic & no-entry zones

Live ships near the marina on a map, with speed-limit zones and no-entry zones that alert you the moment they're breached.

๐Ÿ“Š Reports

run the business, not just the dock

Occupancy & yield

12-month occupancy trend, revenue per berth and per metre, by pontoon.

Contracted revenue

MRR/ARR from active contracts, expiring-soon and churn risk, months ahead.

Financials

Income by source and by month, aged receivables, utility profit margins.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Boatyard & hardstanding

included โ€” not a second subscription

Zones, spaces & fit checks

Hardstanding laid out like your pontoons are, with LOA and beam checked against the space before you put a boat on it. No draft to worry about ashore.

Haul-out & lift scheduling

A board of haul-outs, launches and crane jobs. Register each machine you own and navdeck refuses to double-book it โ€” with an override when you know better.

Yard jobs, priced and approved

Build an estimate, email the owner a link, they approve it from home. Mark it done and it invoices โ€” and writes itself into that boat's permanent service history.

Winter afloat, winter ashore

Hauling out keeps the berth if the contract says so, and launching gives it straight back. One placement per boat, whichever side of the water it is on.

Dry-storage contracts

Seasonal storage bills on exactly the same recurring rails as a mooring contract, into the same accounts and the same P&L.

The owner sees it too

Ashore or afloat, the scheduled launch date, and any estimate waiting on them โ€” in myboat, without you fielding the phone call.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Your team, your locations

who sees what, and where the work lands

Roles that match the jobs

Dock, front desk, yard and finance are real roles, not one โ€œstaffโ€ bucket. A dock hand moves boats and never sees the P&L; a bookkeeper reads the books and not the berth map.

One inbox, routed

Lift requests, inbound visitors, berth-holder messages and speeding ships land on a board you can tick off โ€” and you decide, per event, which role gets it and whether it also emails.

More than one location

A harbour here and a hardstanding across the bay, under one account, one staff roster and one set of customer records โ€” each with its own map.

Staff sign-in you control

Add someone by email and navdeck creates the login and mails them a set-password link. Someone leaves, you switch their sign-in off โ€” without deleting the record of what they did.

Import what you already have

Berths, pontoons, vessels, contracts, rate rules and the waiting list all come in from CSV and go back out again. Nothing you type here is trapped here.

Try it on real-looking data

One button fills an empty marina with a plausible one โ€” docks, boats, contracts, bookings, a work order โ€” so you can see the whole thing working before you import a single row.

Fair questions

Do we need boat owners to connect anything?

No. Marina is a complete harbour-office system on its own โ€” berths, bookings, contracts, invoicing, payments all work with zero connected boats. Connected boats (via the free myboat app) are the upgrade: their berth shows live position and presence, and haul-outs can trigger the boat's own service history automatically.

Can we run just the boatyard, no wet berths?

Yes. A boatyard with no wet berths is not a different product on navdeck โ€” it is the same plan with no berths to count, so you pay โ‚ฌ1 per hardstanding space with the same โ‚ฌ39 minimum, and get the same lift scheduling, yard jobs, contracts and billing engine. A full-service marina pays for its berths and its yard spaces added together, and never pays twice for the same boat.

How does payment processing work?

Each marina connects its own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Money from your customers goes straight to your bank account, at Stripe's standard processing rates โ€” we never sit in the middle of your cash flow and add no markup.

What if we want to leave?

Every entity โ€” berths, vessels, contracts, invoices, payments โ€” exports to a plain CSV file, any time, on every plan. No "export request" ticket, no waiting.

We already use a spreadsheet / older system โ€” how do we get our data in?

CSV import for berths, vessels and customers+contracts in one go โ€” most marinas are running for real within an afternoon. We're also happy to help with the first import.
